Set-up is effortless right out of the box. No tools required. All you need is one USB-C cable, already included. This teleprompter doesn’t need smartphones, iPads, or tablets to work.
You can drag and drop any content from any other source onto your teleprompter display. It’s as easy as using a second monitor.
Elgato offers one-touch remote control through the Elgato Stream Deck, a customisable hardware controller. Don’t have one of those? No problem – you can also use the free Stream Deck mobile app with your Apple or Android smartphone. One-touch remote control lets you stay focused on your viewers.

Formatting is a breeze too. You choose the font type, size, and colour. The teleprompter includes accessible fonts like OpenDyslexic. Background colour, margins, and line spacing are adjustable too. This prompter even supports emojis!
Monitoring in real time lets you always see how you look, even under your script. Want that perfect eye contact? Just place a pointer on the display to mark your camera lens.
While the Elgato Prompter scrolling speed has a default, you can fine-tune that speed depending on your pace and highlight the text to come. Or you can adjust the scrolling speed based on your voice speed. With the Voice Sync function, the prompter changes pace when you do and pauses if you go off-script. Voice Sync requires an NVIDIA RTX 2060 GPU or newer or an Apple Silicon M1 or newer.

Step up rings allow you to attach the display directly to the front of your camera lens. Elgato includes nine rings, ranging in size from 49 mm to 82 mm.
