Sigma EF 50mm f/1.4

The SIGMA EF 50mm f/1.4 is designed to deliver exceptional resolution in the area of focus while also producing a beautifully smooth bokeh effect in both the foreground and background. To ensure superior sharpness, the lens minimises sagittal coma flare, chromatic aberration, and other optical imperfections that can compromise image quality. The result is incredibly fine detail with no noticeable bleeding or streaking, even at wide-open aperture. Vignetting and colour streaking have been reduced, creating a natural and aesthetically pleasing bokeh.

The Sigma 50mm incorporates a floating lens system that adjusts the distance between lens groups during focusing, reducing the amount of movement required and minimising optical aberrations across various focusing distances. This system allows for a minimum focusing distance of 40cm, a maximum magnification ratio of 1:5.6, and superb image quality at every shooting distance.

Equipped with aspherical lens elements and optimised power distribution, this lens effectively minimises distortion from the centre of the frame all the way to the edges.
