We’re excited to announce FT Studio is rebranding to Offshoot Studio! ‘FT Studio’ was always meant to be a placeholder, but we’ve been busy expanding our service offering and building a community we’re proud of and rebranding was on the back burner – until now!
Our team had a lot of fun with this. Brainstorming, laughing, refining the concept to the point where we feel it really reflects us. We hope you like it.
We’ve hosted everything from podcasts to advertising campaign shoots at the studio, along with collaborations and community events. This year, we also launched our new studio for podcasts, video podcasts, and small shoots – Space 2.
What existing clients need to know:
- Any contact information you have for us will continue to work
- We’re still the same familiar faces around the studio
- Our service offering isn’t changing – only expanding
The New Offshoot Brand
We chose ‘Offshoot’ because it better represents who we are and what we do. We’re more than just a studio – we’re a resource for brands and creatives, offering everything from studio hire, to equipment and events.
We offer:
- Spaces for videography, photography and media recording
- Equipment hire, so you can be creative anywhere
- Workshops, photography meetups and community events
- A wealth of knowledge to share on the creative industry in Canberra
We’re the Same Great Studio, Just With More Personality
We’ve evolved a lot since we first opened. Our goal from the start was to have a large, light-controlled space that would ensure that space limitations won’t limit creativity. We achieved that, and now we’re dreaming even bigger about how we can best serve brands and creatives. We feel like the name ‘Offshoot’ represents that – to us Offshoot means growth and boundless creativity.
‘Rebranding from FT Studio to Offshoot has been on the cards for a while, but this feels like the right time to make the shift,’ said our Founder, Germaine Muller. ‘It really feels like the creative scene in Canberra is coming back with a vengeance, and we are excited to be a part of that. I look forward to hosting more of our own events as well, and giving back to the Canberra creative community.’
Introducing Obi from Offshoot
Obi from Offshoot is our new mascot, and creating him was one of the most fun parts of the rebranding process! Our entire team comes from backgrounds in the creative industry. It was a great opportunity to come together and flex those muscles. Let us know what you think of the end result:
More to come
